Re: [SWCollect] Re: OT: Douglas Adams (was: New SKUs)

2001-11-15 Thread Chris Newman

Hmm, is that the CD classics version (in retail box, but without the heavy manual)
or the real deal?

I've got a spare you can have. It's missing some materials (no 3D
  glasses) but should be playable.

Oh boy, brag time! B-)

I have a photo of Adams and Meretzky from their days working on HHGG
together at Infocom in Steve's office, signed by both men.

Okay, you win. 8)

Re: [SWCollect] Re: OT: Douglas Adams (was: New SKUs)

2001-11-15 Thread C.E. Forman

I was never aware of a heavy manual version, unless you mean the strategy
guide that came in some packages. Some had the guide, others had an
audiocassette sampler of the Terry Jones novelization. The spares I have
are the latter, but the box is identical to the release with the guide. You
can find the guide sold seperately.

That and the First-Class Cruise Kit (which had everything, in a deluxe box)
are the only packages I was aware of. Never knew there was a CD Classics
package, I always thought that was an EA thing.
