Re: [swinog] I am available as a Systems Engineer / Systems Administrator in Zurich
Pretty interesting profile you got ;-) I can't hire someone right now, but I wish you well in finding a good job. Cheers Silvia Fabian Wenk writes: Hello After a half year break from work I'm ready for a new challenge as a Systems Engineer / Systems Administrator in or around Zurich. I prefer to do concept, planning, building and upgrading work for central server infrastructures in a corporate environment or ISP setup using mostly open source software. Using the central services for unified login, storage and printing solutions to integrate with Linux, Windows and Mac workstations is something I like. My good background with the Windows client / server concept including central storage for user logins, settings and data running on Samba servers is helping me with this. Also the good fundamentals about automated centralized workstation setup and upgrade solutions is helping me be a project leader or mentor for the person doing workstation maintenance. With my wide knowledge about several aspects in the IT business, including good TCP/IP and general networking, I also can do overall concept work for the whole IT environment. Finding the needs and requirements of the users and try to realize a wise solution for it is my primary goal. I am used to act independently, but I also prefer working as part of a team. Acting foresighted and doing trouble shooting quick and to keep calm is one of my benefit. I am used to learn new stuff as needed and constantly try to keep up to date in the IT sector. If you are interested to have me working for your company, or know somebody who could have an interesting job for me, please see my online resume [1] (only in German) for detailed information about my skills. I like this text: Zitat Der MSIE7 ist 50MB, der FireFox nur 5MB gross. What they mean with is registred They are makeing blacklist of users??? RE: [swinog] Windows-Pizza
Hi, The reason seems to be clear: The pizzaiolo is a Microsoft shareholder. Thus it invites its customer to use the MS products. But everybody knows that geeks are intensively eating pizzas and drinking coffein-based beverages (Coke or coffee) at home (preferably in front of their computer). Real geeks are using real OSs (Linux, BSDs, ...) that don't support MSIE. => Real geeks will not be able to browse this pizza joker web site and will not be able to order a pizza there. Conclusion: Microsoft shares brings more dividends than a pizza served to a geek bings benefits. If you are living in Winthertur and you want to change your job: Open your own pizzeria "Pizza Geek (and for dummies)". The domain "pizza-geek.ch" is still unregistered.
