[swinog] Contact at web.de?
Does anybody have a contact person at web.de responsible for e-mail? Their anti-spam settings seem to be pretty harsh. When our customers try to send newsletters with more than about 10 web.de recipient addresses, further mails are being blocked for quite some time, causing delays and filling our outbound queue. Is there an easy way to get on a whitelist at web.de? Hi, It’s completely different about that what RP is offering. ReturnPath is listed as cooperation partner so I guess they are exchanging their 'whitelists'. The business model behind this whitelisting services pushes e-mail into a paid by the byte model. Senders pay (by different models) to be included in a whitelist. Of course, commercial providers have an incentive to enforce their policies (otherwise people would stop using them), but only potentially bad senders have an incentive to make use of such paid services. The new thing is, ISP don't have to pay, but Bulk mailers have to ... I found this on their website ... Price List This document contains the registration fees and continuous dues according to business size as well as payment methods. The service is free of charge to internet service providers. Bulk Mailers who have memberships with the DDV or eco receive a discount. How nice ... Web.de should better use DNSWL.org which is free for anyone.
