Just FYI: My (blt04) git sfDoctrine2Plugin repo is not "official" by any means. 
 It does mirror the subversion repository daily.  The official repository is in 
subversion.

Right. But i'd prefer to make "pull requests" to official plugin git
mirror instead of direct commiting to official svn repo.
And it's easy to do code review and comment code with GitHub.
