t-and-f: Throws coach

2002-09-21 Thread Keith Whitman

Muskingum College is looking for a volunteer assistant for the throws.
Anyone interested can contact Keith Whitman at (740) 826-8018 or at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] There is a strong chance that the position can
become a paid position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate should
have experience in all throws. Coaching experience is desirable, but
competitive experience as well as academic excellence and an understanding
of the NCAA Division III philosophy will count strongly. This is an
excellent opportunity for someone to enter collegiate coaching. Please pass
this along to anybody you feel would be interested

We are looking for someone who coaches for the love of the sport as
the salary is minimal and the hours are long. We have an excellent
tradition of throwers at Pima College and would like it to continue.
The recruiting has been done for the upcoming school year and you
will have a full squad to work with. Our needs are for someone who
has a working knowledge and perhaps some coaching experience with all
five throws. (Jav, Dis, Shot, Ham, Weight) You will be working with
both the men and the women throwers and at times will be asked to
develop weight room workouts for other members of the track squad.
We have fantastic and safe facilities and a large quantity of
throwing implements. Our weight room is top notch. The position is
renewable for as long as you desire to be a contributing part of the
coaching staff. Retired teacher-coaches who want to keep their hand
in the sport, graduate assistants who could enroll at the nearby
University of Arizona are examples of people who could fill our
needs. All our coaches have day jobs off campus to support their
coaching habits, we are not restricted to hiring educators. For more
details contact me ASAP.

It contains last year's results and is currently being updated for
the 2001-2002 school year.
