something like that should be handled in a seperate proposal, though i
think most of your examples are covered with addr:housename.

Yes. You are currently concentrating on the micro level, but there
could be a suggestion for the intermediate scale between the whole
complex and the micro level as well: de:Hof (engl. courtyard)

This is often also expressed indirectly in addresses with the German
terms Seitenfl?gel (side wing), Vorderhaus (front building),
Hinterhaus (rear building), 2. Hinterhaus (second rear building =
 2nd courtyard rear building), etc.)

Good, question.

All other rules I know are not about the loading.

By the way, what do the other letter stay for ? (I only know A is open
for all and all other do not allow hazards).

 Why not adr_category?

Just trying to keep the namespaces a bit tidy by grouping related
tags... I am looking for a tag to hold this information and what it is
called doesn't bother me much, although I do try to apply some data
 modelling discipline.

Is there really no close category for roads, aswell ?

I think there might be some categories which lead in the same direction
for railways and waterways.

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:hazmat currently exists. In the
US there are often HC (hazardous cargo) signs pointing around large
cities on the bypass routes. Here's one that routes hazmat traffic
around a tunnel: http://www.botecomm.com/bote/signs/images/hc_loveland.jpg

none of this is covered by addr:housename. addr:housename is for
individual names (like Windsor Castle), not for descriptions.

Please, do not mix hunting_stands with shelter.

Many hunting_stands do not even have a roof nor walls.
Many are only reached by climbing up a latter.

shelter=yes or shelter=* could be a solution to think about.

Could you rename the key by something less obscur for non-experts e.g.
hazard:ADR_category as I suggest on the wiki talk ?

Now that one I can definitely live with. It gets grouped with the other
hazmat values, and contains the (for me) key elements of adr, tunnel
and category. I wish I had thought of it myself!

In American usage, seafood covers all aquatic-origin food, whether from fresh

would you use seafood for freshwater fish? And if yes, also if they
