RE: Skype and accessibility

2015-08-30 Thread Rod Hutton via Talk
Hi Vinny,

The current version is fine.
Alt-1 brings you to your Contacts, while Alt-2 to Recent events.
Pressing Enter on a Contact opens it.
Alt-Shift-V brings you to your voice mail.
The rest of what you need to know is tabbing around and using spacebar to
press buttons.
Since Contact windows always open inside of the main window, Alt-1 always
brings you back to your Contacts, while pressing Enter on a Contact brings
you back to a Contact.

Hth,

Rod

InRe: Excel 2010 we9.2 does not read column headers it just gives a1 b1 c1 etc

2015-08-30 Thread manny via Talk

Hi,

Excel 2010 with several columns and 20 rows.

Setting it to read columns, I go down the row, then when I arrow right,
I expect to hear the column header and all I hear is the cell address,
a1 b1 c1 etc

How do I set we9.2 to read read column and rows headers?
I already set it up using alt shift t, and picked column headings and
pressed ok.

Many thanks,
Manny

Bouncing usually means your provider's quota for disk space has been exceded.
Clearing out old mail saved on their server usually clears up things. I had my
email setup to keep a copy of sent mail on the server. Over time that builds
up again. The way to fix it is to go back in and change that check box to
unchecked.

Subject: Re: Changes For Breaking News and Of Course Sea Battle/Juke Box

Hi!

All changes have been made for both the Breaking News and Juke Box apps;
known as Sea Battle at the moment.

I have added 2 options to the Sea Battle game and the first 2 are the
choices of playing the Juke Box with either Window Eyes or SAPI voices.

Before you only had the game with the Shift F9 option inside the game
for Juke Box.

Upon selecting you enter the Juke Box instead of the game and upon
exiting the Juke Box you can select to play again or exit and go back to the
control panel to select Juke Box or game.

In the future and any future modifications will be done with the posting
of the new app, Juke Box with the option to play games.

Note I say games, for I will be adding games in the future like Yahtzee,
which I had written in Java Script long ago, and the Trek game, which was
posted and I removed. The Trek game may be enhanced to have real time
instead of command enter options.

Like what Rod posted, I may have several of the Jim Kitchen games, like
Monopoly and such or any games others may want. At least some board games to
play, all under the Juke Box menu.

So, stay tune, but Monday I will upload the compiled version of the Juke
Box/Sea Battle game as well as the new Breaking news which has the editing
features the Sea Battle game already has.

So input games you may want, I may make my version of Lunar Lander, who
knows what is next, just let me know what you may want and I will write it
up if possible; including time available.

Hi!

I discovered an interesting flaw in Inserting new items of the list and
the words Before and After are not doing what I wanted them to do.

So, Friday I will upload both apps with the fix. I got side tracked when
not having anything on the list and everything got switched so Before
becomes After and such.

Now, they are fixed and Breaking News will also have the same editing
for the Alert Tree View List.
But, the Breaking News Download and Save File hotkey has been changed to
CtrlD instead of CtrlS.
All edit keys are now in the Breaking News app and the Control Return key is
removed with CtrlN, CtrlShiftN instead.
Also has CtrlC, CtrlD, CtrlI, CtrlN, CtrlR, CtrlS, CtrlV, and CtrlX.
With there shift options as well.
In the future it will also have a recover last delete as well in the edit
menu.

Re: InRe: Excel 2010 we9.2 does not read column headers it just gives a1 b1 c1 etc

2015-08-30 Thread manny via Talk

Hey Rick,
You are correct
hotkey key alt shift h
which is what I used (I miss typed)
However, the column headers are not being announced, after setting it to
announce headers.

It just announces the cell address.Pressing arrow right will give b1 etc.
any suggestions.
Many thanks,
Manny

2015-08-30 Thread manny via Talk

Hi Rick,
yes
I start by being on cell a1 which has the heading symbol.
one of the settings gives a1 to j41
which I tried, but did not work
I changed the setting
a1 to j1 and set column headings only and still headings are not given
just the cell a1 etcc

I guess I will call gwmicro tomorrow for help.
Thanks for your help,
Manny

Hi Manny

Have you try to adjust the parameter for the following and see if it
works:

1. region to use
2. region type

Another thing to consider is where your cursor is when you issue the
hotkey alt-shift-H.

Thanks.
