Hi,
The update, KB3035583, came back in my update list after I hid it 2

dtimes.

This is the third time I have hidden it.
It put the Get Windows 10 icon in my systray.
Once I uninstalled it the icon is gone again.
Thought you all would like to know.

Extended Dictionary, new version is ready

2016-02-26 Thread David via Talk

To all the users of the Extended Dictionary package.
I am glad to inform you that the new version is ready for distribution.
This will be version 0.69.5. Please be informed, that the previous
version will expire on February 29. There is no other way to renew your
license, but to install the newest version. All your current
Dictionaries should be preserved, and the installation should be a
rather seamless go.

As it still may take a couple of days for the new version to show up on
the App Central, and due to the fact that the license is about to expire
for all current users, I open up for those of you who want the new
installation file as quickly as possible, that you may contact me
directly. Send me your rquest on the below Email, and I will make sure
you get the installation file asap.

For those of you who want to go through App Central, you may want to
check for new updates to the package, some time next week.

I do apologize for any further inconveniences.

What's new in version 0.69.5?
This is mainly a bug fixing version, with a few minor updates to the
code. In addition it will grant you a quite prolonged license, that you
may continue benefitting from the functionality of the package, for a
good long time yet.

Basically, it will not pose much for new features. Still, the User's
Guide has been updated with several new chapters, so you may want to pay
attention to the complete Table of Contents.

One major update in operation has taken place though. That is in the
operating the User's Guide. Please be aware of this, since it is of
importance for you being able to do your reading.

As usual, the Treview Table Of Contents, will be focused when you open
the User's Guide. Use your arrow-keys for exploring the table.

Once a chapter of interest has focused, simply hit the Tab-key. You now
will be one step further down the screen, and are placed inside the
Reading-box. Here the entire text of the chosen chapter will be
displayed. Automatically, it will be read out to you. Should you want to
manually arrow your way through the chapter, you can hit any key to
terminate the automatic speech.

Whenever you are done with the reading of the chapter, simply hit
Shift-Tab, and you will be back in the Table Of Contents. Repeat the
above procedure, and do your reading of as many chapters as you want.

Upon finishing the reading session, you can close the User's Guide in
either of two ways. If you hit the Alt-L combo, this will activate the
Close-button. Alternatively, hit the Escape-key, and it will do the
same. The Documentation screen will be closed, and your last viewed
chapter will be saved, just as you have experienced from before.

Hope you will find the new version stabil and enjoyable. Feel free to
let me know, should you experience any trouble.

Regards,
David

No, I didn't say that. And, to avoid any other miscommunications, I will

I doubt it since many of the contributing factors are out of our control.
But, this update should help improve stability when using Internet

Hi,

Many times, when I go on my win7 32bit computer with IE11 to a site
[www.p-u.demon.nl in this case].
I tab to the link: brltty, press context key and arrow up to:
copy shortcut
Before I have reached this item, WE will crash. Will no longer talk.

This happens allmost every time.
Yes, I have Internet download manager installeed and this is a addon
in internet explorer, but this program is working well.

And when I use Nvda, there is no problem.

I have a little sight and I use the mouse to click on buttons in IE 11, but
lately, I am having to tab to the button and activate it with enter. When I
click with the mouse the button appears to activate but it does not. Anyone
else noticed this? Don't know if it is a WE problem and IE problem or
possibly a problem with the mouse.

It's there for everyone. Facebook recently introduced "reactions". I have them

trouble with buttons in IE 11

2016-02-26 Thread Loy via Talk
I have a little sight and I use the mouse to click on buttons in IE 11, but
lately, I am having to tab to the button and activate it with enter. When I
click with the mouse the button appears to activate but it does not. Anyone
else noticed this? Don't know if it is a WE problem and IE problem or possibly
a problem with the mouse.

RE: Why will Window-Eyes crash, but Nvda not?

2016-02-26 Thread Marc Solomon via Talk
No, I didn't say that. And, to avoid any other miscommunications, I will
refrain from discussing this update further until it is officially released.
Once that happens, you can review the Read Me file for a complete list of
changes, fixes and improvements.
