Running we 9.51 and windows 10, office 2007 and outlook. I did check the factory set files and all are in order. Still when opening outlook, emails are there but Idon't hear read and unread. Perhaps something in berbosity, options or in the closet? Rod's computer must have had its coffee this morning, since it's more alert than mine is. Smile. When I first open the Windows 10 Calculator, mine does tell me that the display is 0, but after that, it needs a bit of nudging to stay awake. But it's quite simple. Window-Eyes has given us two ways of reading the screen, depending on how we choose to enter our calculations. First, using the numpad: If I type 5 plus 5 and press enter, the computer has not spoken any of the key presses. But if I'd wanted to confirm any of the numbers I typed as I typed them, I just have to press control-shift-s, (speak summary) and the computer yawns, rubs its eyes and says 5. After I press enter, it tells me, correctly, using control-shift-s again that the total is 10. I turn numlock on and use the numpad to enter my numbers, but if you choose to leave numlock off and use the numbers across the top of the keyboard, all you need do to get confirmation of the numbers you've typed and the result of your calculation is press control-numpad center to read the current line. I find this more cumbersome since I have to remember to cap the equals sign to get the plus, and I have to reach to the bottom of the keyboard for the slash. But as usual, Windows has given us ways and ways. Smile. HTH. Why not hit Ctrl-F, once in the AppGet screen. Write your search query, i.e Append, and hit Enter. All apps that holds the search query in its name, will be listed, no matter which category. Scroll down the resulting list, till you get to the app you are particularly looking for, and hit Enter to start installation. Does any one have any ideas how to get window eyes to read these other fields? I can't seem to find a tab any where when editing a contact that lets me go to other sections or extra fields for filling in all the information. Hello, Thanks to several of you who advised yesterday about unzipping files. However, my Lenovo Yoga laptop has no application key and Shift F10 did not give me options dealing with unzipping files. I'm guessing there is a workaround for the application key but I can't find that information anywhere. If anyone has a suggestion, your help would be much appreciated. Right now, I can't even unzip my Window-Eyes upgrade file. Thank in advance for any assistance. Hi. When you hit SHIFT+F10 with the zipped file selected, look for Extract All in the menu that comes up. If that doesn't work, move the mouse onto the file and simulate a right click.
