Subject: Mozilla Firefox and auto updates

Hi, I have used Mozilla firefox as my browser for quite a long time instead
of Internet Explorer.

Recently I have been getting a message when I open Firefox I get a window
that wants to know if I want to allow Firefox software auto updater.

I don't recall ever getting this message before and I am pretty sure it is
safe to allow the software auto updater but I want to see what others think
or know before I do allow firefox to update automatically. I have just been
choosing no but once I close firefox and reopen I get the same question
again so it is becoming a real pain in the backside. I know I am using the
most current version of Firefox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: dropbox setup document

2016-10-29 Thread Chris Skarstad via Talk

head on over to
http://www.ninite.com
and on that page, you'll see a whole bunch of checkboxes. Dropbox is
one of them, so go ahead and press your space bar on the checkbox that
says dropbox. then, press alt plus g and you can download your
instalation program.
or, just press the letter f and it'll land you on the get installer
button so go ahead and press the space bar on that. The cool thing
about Ninite is it'll give you an installer that just works. No
inaccessible instalation screens, no agreeing to terms of service or
agreements, it just installs and works.you'll have to sign into
dropbox but that should be farely straitghtforward.

RE: linking dropbox

2016-10-29 Thread Rod Hutton via Talk
Hi Jed,

1. Press Insert-S to open the system tray and arrow to the DropBox option.
2. Press tab once to focus the single-click left mouse button and press
spacebar to activate it.
Now you'll notice that you'll have to press Enter to actually bring up the
DropBox item since this is how DropBox designed there system tray option.
You then can arrow down within the DropBox pull-down, and you can arrow down to
Preferences, and press Enter.
3. You will now be in a multi-tab dialog. If you tab through the dialog, when
you land on a control which doesn't speak, this means you're on a tab control
which can be changed using left and right arrows, and, interestingly, when you
press arrows, it does speak to indicate the next tab you've activated.
When you first open the dialog, you're in the General tab. You want to be in
the one to the right called Account.
4. Tab through the Account tab and you'll find a button called Move. Press
Enter to move the location of your DropBox folder.
5. After setting the new location of the DropBox folder, tab to the Ok button
to close the Preferences dialog.

Hth,

Rod

Hotkey: down arrow

find string two spaces

Is there a way to execute a hotspot upon pressing a cursor key so that the
cursor key works and then the hotspot executes?
