Hi Tom and others in this thread:

Sorry I am so late in posting about this, but I have been out of town on
vacation.

Interesting that several of you are having trouble, but I have always had
good success with the Adobe reader. I'm using the DC version with
Window-Eyes 9.5.4.0..

Usually, unless the pdf is very short, I've noticed, when you hit enter on
a pdf to have it open the reader, there is a window that comes up, because
it detects that assistive technology is on your system. It is there that
you can choose to read the visible pages or the whole document. I have
almost always read the visible pages, which work well for me with the
Control-Down Arrow to move down the document page by page or Control-Up
Arrow to move up the document page by page. . I never adjusted settings, so
I don't know why others don't have good success paging through documents.

I just checked how I had my settings in View, page display. The two things
I have checked, which must be the defaults, because I don't think I ever
changed anything there are, single page, and show gaps in pages. I don't
know if I gave helpful information, but I hope so.

Aloha Rod,

Although I have converted to Jaws 18 I still prefer to use Window Eyes for
the present! I intend to use it until it is absolutely impractical for my
purposes. If you would, I would appreciate you sending whatever apps you
have to share and send them to me directly. You have done a terrific job in
the past so I pretty much know what to expect!
Diehard Win Eyes user!
Aloha,

Alex

Hi everyone,

I have updates for a couple of my apps, and even a new app or two, but VFO
is no longer accepting app submissions.
Is anyone still interested enough in Window-Eyes to wish for someone to set
up an independent website for the purpose of app updates?
I am trying to get a handle on who is still interested in receiving support
for Window-Eyes, and so please circulate this question to any Window-Eyes
users you know.

Sincere thanks,

Rod Hutton
