Duplicate messages

2015-08-04 Thread John Chilelli via Talk
I keep getting duplicate messages sometimes one after the first one and at
other times, long after when I had deleted a message which shows up again to
haunt my computer email client which is Outlook 2007..

Using WE 9.1 on a Win 7 32 bit laptop.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

John Chilelli

Sorry for the OT but I really need some word adjustments for we to work

2015-03-18 Thread John Chilelli via Talk
Hi all,

I need to copy some documents I received via Outlook 2007 email and re-do
them in Word 2007. However all I am seeing in Word are tables and rows. We
reports that Word 2007 is in print mode when no document is displayed. How
can I fix Word 2007 to not show tables and colums or whatever, - just a
simple Word layout is all I need at this point.

Please be detailed concerning Word as I am new to the ribbon thingys.

Thanks for the help,

Hi all,

I received an email asking if I would like to be in a focus group which will
pay $100 if I am selected. I went to the survey I need to fill out, which I
have done before. This time, the first question was whether I was male or
female. There was a radio button that said male, then under that the word
male was repeated. The same was done for female. So, I hit the space bar for
female. Then, when I went to the next question, I found the radio buttons
that said yes on the button with the word yes under the button. The same was
done for no. But, I couldn't find the question. What should I do? I have
been able to do these surveys from the same source in the past. I tried
turning on forms mode, but that didn't do any good. Thanks for your help.

and here is a link to your sapi5 decTalk.

http://theflameofhope.co/dectalkreader1/DECtalkMain.zip

unzip it and in the dectalk main folder is a sapi5 folder so hit enter on
the sapi5 folder and run setup from inside the sapi5 folder and you will
have your sapi5 dectalk.

Thanks. I downloaded and installed it, but Window-eyes crashes most
times when I switch to those SAPI 5 Dectalk voices. What else was
 bundled there?

RE: installing Windows 10

Hi Doug,

Is there a hot key to use to launch Narator?

Richard,

As mentioned, there are a couple screens that come up that do not have
Window-Eyes running. These couple screens will require you to run Narrator.
But all other places the upgrade process will allow Window-Eyes to run and
be used.

RE: SMA or free version

2015-07-31 Thread John Chilelli via Talk
So Chip and all,

Right now I still have one SMA, so I need to determine what's better to do
now and in the future: Keep in mind that I have at least two computers to
upgrade.

Should I get the 365 version of the latest Office for all of my computers
and loose my GW support, Or dflip the bill for a couple of copies of Office
and keep my GW support, - which when this current SMA is use up, will then
again cost me more out of pocket for a couple of new SMA contracts.

No Gary is just plain incorrect there ... no machine I've ever found comes
with a full working copy of Office; it's always a limitted demo (how would
MS survive giving it's flagship product away for free?).

I suppose there are retailers who will include it in their bundled price,
but if you do some price comparisons you'll see they're charging you for it.

Sorry, that's not necessarily so. I didn't have any form of office on my
computer when I bought it from Dell. I figured I might try outlook, so I
called them and asked them to send me office. When I got it, it turns out
that they sold me a student edition, with no outlook in it. But I didn't
know there was no office in this computer until I went to view some of my
documents that were on the old hard drive that I got the guy to put in from
the old computer. Pam.

I don't think so they cut off the folks who wer on the payment plan for the
free version to cut those costs . thats how I see it. I know a few friends
of mine who wer in this situation. So I don't think that the office approach
is a wrong thing.it gives folks the opportunity to own both what's wrong
about that one. If you're a payin customer of fs and you want to try out gw
you have that choice wwithout having to invest in the full copy. Almost
every machine now a days comes with some version of office, so that excuse
that you don't have office does not fly.
