RE: Have No View
Pat, I know it is frustrating, but since this is happening to you and you are right there, there are things you already know that we don't know so it isn't easy to know what to tell you. Can we assume, for example, that your computer is booting up and that speech is starting? Did the monitor work all right at some point in Windows 10? I assume it must have worked for the person who helped you be certain that the upgrade completed. Is this a desktop computer so that there is only one display connected, that being your monitor? Is there some kind of light on the monitor indicating for certain that it is receiving power and is turned on? Of course, checking the cable as has already been suggested makes good sense. If all of these assumptions are true, then it is probably worth rebooting a few times with the monitor on to make sure it is correctly detected. Possibly some part of the upgrade didn't complete regarding the detection of your monitor. Is there any chance that you have a s eparate video output for a projector and that your monitor is connected to that output? I am running Windows 10 and I have an LCD monitor that I routinely leave off but turn on when needed and that is working for me, so there isn't anything about Windows 10 that would prevent that from happening unless it is related to your specific setup. RE: Have No View
What exactly is on the screen? If it’s just blank either in display settings the display is turned off or your video cable is disconnected or there’s a problem with your display adapter, etc. Sent from Mail for Windows 10 From: krinke1968--- via Talk Sent: Sunday, April 5, 2020 9:09 AM To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Cc: krinke1...@hotmail.com Subject: Re: Have No View Thank you, everyone!
