Hi Rick, As I've always known it, app updates always require confirmation before taking place. However, how you are notified is configured under the GW Toolkit app entry in the Apps menu, by selecting the App updates option. If you were to choose "Don't notify me," I think that you simply wouldn't be notified about available updates. Not being notified doesn't mean that they would be automatically installed.
