Set files have a .set extension, and .we files provide supplemental
information.

I was under the impression that set files had a .000 extension.  Someone 
correct me if I'm wrong.

  In the beginning set files had the .set extension.  At some point set Files 
switched to the .### format.  They have reverted to the .set extension.
