Re: issues with windows 10 even after windows 10 re-install

2015-08-06 Thread manny via Talk

Hi,--
Originally I updated my window 8.1 to windows 10.
However, WE was often sluggish and crashing frequently, so I did a
clean install of

Windows 10.
However, WE9.2 still crashes and after a while it gets sluggish.
Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that WE9.2 stops speaking.

computer specifications: Window Eyes 9.2 , Dell xps420 Windows 7 home
premium, with dual boot to windows 10 with 8 gb RAM, Intel q6600 quad
core drivers and software updated. Software recommended: Firefox,
Thunderbird, security: Microsoft security essential, Malware Bytes pro,
Win Patrol, Roboform, Ninite updater, and Driver buster (which you need
sighted help because it is all graphic, but works great for updating
drivers.)

Don,
Why not try Xplorer2 file manager replacement until the File Explorer issue is
resolved.

The sluggishness doesn't happen in xplorer2 and it runs circles around file
explorer.

OK so I have tried twice to install Windows 10 on my HP Envy laptop. I have
been unable to resolve the issue that file explorer is very sluggish and gets
even more sluggish as times goes by. If I do a restart the sluggishness gets
better but again gets worse as I use the computer.
Doug at AiSquared has been working closely with me including remoting into my
laptop and observed the problem first hand. I contacted the Microsoft
Accessibility hotline and although they indicated that they have had numerous
callers about sluggishness in file explorer they had no solution.
The only last suggestion that Doug has is to do a clean install of Win
10 which means a lot of effort with the high possibility that it still won't
work well. AiSquared is aware of the overall lag issue in file explorer but
not like in my case where it gets more sluggish as time goes by.
Is anyone else seeing this building sluggishness?
Again I thank Doug and all the staff at AiSquared for all their time and only
wished a easy solution was at hand.
