RE: up and down arrows in ms outlook 2010
This is exactly what mine used to do with WE 9.1, but now with the new 9.2, it appears to be doing fine. -Original Message- From: Talk [mailto:talk-bounces+madison_tewe=spinn@lists.window-eyes.com] On Behalf Of Van Lant, Robin via Talk Sent: Wednesday, July 29, 2015 4:16 PM To: Dave Bahr; Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: RE: up and down arrows in ms outlook 2010 I'm actually seeing some of this behavior in WE 9.1 that I installed a few weeks ago. I'll be writing an email in Outlook and go back to review it and it's not reading. I thought it was happening only when I used bold text, but that's not true. I composed this message fine. Oh, wait, now I just had a weird glitch. I was just about to send this message and think I pressed Control Home to go to the top of the message to run spellcheck. Then Outlook started reading some garbled message that seems to pull some info from my ribbon, but nothing I can fully decipher. It kept repeating that same garble as I arrow up and down my message (yes, I can see the cursor to see it's moving up and down the lines in my editing field) until I Alt tabbed away and came back. Redrawing the screen did not fix it. I can keep watching for a pattern. Robin and all, Just shift-tab to the subject and then tab back and your up and down arrows will work as expected. I've seen this in Outlook 2007 as well. I've not seen this one in Outlook 2013 though. Thanks.
