Virtual View, OCR and Ebay CAPTCHAS
Hi all If I ask a question about an Ebay item, I sometimes get asked to solve a CAPTCHA before I can send my question to the seller. The fact that this doesn't always happen may make it harder to answer my question. However, if you have encountered this, have you managed to resolve the "numbers in the image" with W-E's Virtual View? With the Windows TIF filter installed, W-E says "no text found". Captchas are deliberately designed to illude OCR software otherwise no end of spammers or hackers would correctly guess the captchas and go about their malicious businesses. That's right, which Is why I was hoping that Virtual View might do better.. Webvisum says "no CAPTCHA found on this page".
