Hi Jay and thanks for your suggestion

It turned out that it was an older version of the voice installer, which
was either outdated or corrupted.
I was initially confused because Samantha seemed not to be available.  I
had to select American English first of course.  Having done thatt,
overwritten the installer, and installed again, it now works.

Vocalizer Expressive installation problem

Hi all
With the latest Window-eyes I'm using the Tom Premium High voice
successfully.  I also have Samantha, but this voice will not work.  I
have installed the voice and what I believe to be the correct
authorisation file.  The voice now shows up in the list, but pressing
"activate" produces silence until the synth settings are reverted.
Any thoughts anyone?
