Re: more 10 questions.
Alan, You can open File Explorer with Windows-E, or, Windows-R (run dialog), type C: and hit ENTER. When you do so nothing will be selected. This is what you want. So do not touch any arrow keys. Open the context menu with either the Application key or Shift-F10. Arrow down to the View pull down menu and right arrow to open it. List will be a check box you can activate with ENTER. Re: more 10 questions.
Oops. Alan? I didn'recall it being as simple as my below message. So if that doesn't work or only applies to the current view, try this. Open File Explorer. Alt-V View, L Layout. Arrow down to List and hit ENTER. They're used to be an Apply to all folders button or something like that. But I can't find it now. So maybe it's been simplified. Who'd a thunk it. I made this change very soon after installing Windows 10 so I can't remember exactly what I did. But all my folders are in lists. RE: more 10 questions.
Hi, The most important thing to know is that you have to select items before they can be acted upon, and this is done by pressing Enter.. After that, use tab and arrow keys to navigate, and the application key to find the options to perform on the selected item.
