In Word 2010 it is alt followed by F I  E 

for File Info Enable Editing.


It might also work to save the document in a new place first.

reading a protected view document in word

Hey guys,
I am opening up a word doc that i have using word 2016, and it keeps 
telling me it's in protected view.  How do i get it out of that?  It's 
my resume.
