[Talk-gb-london] Tomorrow night - OpenStreetMap Xmas Pub meet-up!
Tomorrow night (Monday 18th December) it's time for the Christmas OpenStreetMap pub meet-up at The Monkey Puzzle pub from 7:00pm. Whether you're a mapper, map user, or just curious, come join us to celebrate a Mappy Christmas with lots of beers and map chat. The Monkey Puzzle is here on the map: https://osm.org/go/euu4EkMw?m= , between Paddington & Edgware Road on the circle line, and Lancaster Gate on the central line. It's a little way away from the tube stations in a quite an obscure residential location, so you may want to find it using a map! It's a small pub, but if you think you may have trouble recognising anyone, turn up at 7:30pm when the group will be more assembled, and look out for maps or OpenStreetMap hi-viz vests. The pub serves food and most of us will probably be eating there. Mark yourself as "attending" on here: https://osmcal.org/event/2479/ if you fancy it. Not everyone bothers signing up. We normally expect about 5/10 people at the pub. See this site for more OSMLondon events: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/London#Upcoming_Events ...and this mastodon feed: https://en.osm.town/@OSMLondon Harry ___ Talk-gb-london mailing list Talk-gb-london@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb-london
Re: [talk-au] Deletion of informal paths by NSW NPWS
So access=discouraged may be the best answer, possibly together with a hazard= tag? Incidentally, I never heard back from the NPWS bloke who wanted to set-up an OSM liasion contact.
Re: [talk-au] Deletion of informal paths by NSW NPWS
I’m not aware of any restriction regarding staying on marked tracks only. The map on the sign at the start of the walk doesn’t mention any restriction, and the National Parks web site doesn’t mention any restrictions.
