Good evening,

I am talking with a local television station to use OpenStreetMap maps on
their website and even on tv. To show where certain news events have occurred.

They are asking me about the legal stuff and credits. So I have some
questions:

- When creating mash-ups of the data no data has to be send back to
openstreetmap right? With mash-ups I mean little balloons that link to news
events. They probably won't mind sending it back but it is not of any value to
use I assume.

- Of course when they add ways etc the data has to come back our way.

- When they embed Openstreetmap maps on their website I assume a line with:
"data by openstreetmap" will be enough?

- The same for map shown on television. "Data by openstreetmap (c)" at the
bottom of the picture is enough?

I am not really into the legal aspect of OSM so I figured I would better
check.

Cheers,
--Roeland
