Not sure where to report this but it seems that AT Email has placed 
OpenStreetMap Emails on the block list in the past week.


   Example: Changeset feed Emails, OpenStreetMap US Email list sent to 
@att.net destination emails.   They do not show up in a spam box, so I'm 
guessing it's a full block.

Thank you, Kathleen.  I am usually quite sensitive to this (often using gender 
neutrality or s/he as a pronoun...), but this time I ended up making a "typical 
mistake" (by assuming I could guess correctly).  That is why they put erasers 
on the ends of pencils.

Should she be reading this thread, I directly apologize to Dristie for my 
error.  I regret my error.

If it's fragmented, it's not our fault, we already have our community

I don't buy that talk, not replying to emails asking for simple things 
and ignoring is bad. Worst, some things are still like they were months 
ago. As example OSM maps being attributed to HERE.


Actions speaker louder than words.


There's nothing complex, the license, guidelines are well explicit and 
they are even Corporate Members of OSMF, they surely are aware of how to 
proceed. Ignoring emails for months is not building bridges. Also has 
Facebook legal dept managed to review our attribution issue? That's what 
they said to me on October 2018 (10 months ago). Do we really need to 
send for legal review, when as OSMF corporate members they must:




  Foundation and community expectations

We expect Corporate Members to conduct themselves as good citizens of 
the OpenStreetMap ecosystem, e.g. by complying with our attribution 
requirements (Licence and Legal FAQ 
), 
following good editing practice and adhering to the community's 
guidelines, such as the Licence/Community Guidelines

[OSM-talk] Update email address not working?

Some time back I changed my email address, but missed that the 
confirmation email never actually happened. Just tried to post and of 
cause the new email address got bounced to moderation. Checked my 
profile again and have twice had the messages about watching for email, 
but as yet no email ... where next to fix this?

Il permet de rejeter les demandes de rendu pour des tiles supérieurs à

Il faut mettre les 2 fichiers dans un répertoire et y ajouter les
données dans un fichier data.osm

ensuite lancer la commande 

xsltproc 1÷5000.xml osmarender.xsl carte.svg

Il ne reste plus qu'à ouvrir la carte dans Inkscape (d'habitude je dois
encore la recadrer à la main en ajoutant transform=translate(x,y)
dans le calque map et en changeant la taille de la page en A4 ou A3).

Oui, si tu n'utilises pas le mode loop, il ne doit pas uploader les
tiles tout seul donc tu peux les garder en local si tu veux.

Suite aux discutions sur une version imprimé, je me suis rendu compte 
que le problème est que les tuiles générées n'ont pas une définition 
suffisante pour tout ce qui concerne les textes.
Un zoom de 18 correspond parfaitement à la résolution d'une carte 
imprimé à 300 dpi (j'ai fait quelques calculs à partir d'un scan d'une 
carte papier), mais tout le texte est deux fois trop petit.
Je me disais que je pourrais éventuellement changer la feuille de style 
pour faire des tuiles à la bonne résolution pour l'impression.

Idem, il n'y a pas bcp d'intéret car si c'est pour faire des tests
dans ta région, de toute façon la source de donnée est la même (la
base OSM) et le calcul de la zone est AUTOMATIQUEMENT lancé dès
modification quoi que tu fasses donc pas moyen de bidouiller dans son
coin sur la prod !
Si c'est pour faire des png il y a d'autres outils pour ça.
Par contre ça pourrait être utile pour s'amuser à changer les règles
de rendu osmarender (XSL) sans uploader !

Non, ça n'est pas automatique. Il faut aller en faire la demande sur
http://informationfreeway.org. Se placer au niveau de zoom 12, placer
le curseur sur la zone dont on veut le rendu et appuyer sur la touche
'r'. On doit aussi pouvoir faire avec Ctrl+Clic sur la zone, toujours
en zoom 12.

Oui le rendu se fait de 12 à 17 pour Osmarender de façon automatique
dans [EMAIL PROTECTED], mais ta question mériterait d'être précisée, y ais-je

Je sais qu'il est possible de demander un rendu manuellement pour une 
tiles qui sera ensuite uploadé sur le serveur, mais je voulais savoir si 
on pouvait ne demander que le rendu d'un zoom 17 plutot que de devoir 
faire le rendu de toutes les tuiles en dessous de celle du zoom 12.
Est ce que la question est plus claire maintenant ?

 Tu pourrais en modifiant le client [EMAIL PROTECTED] en lui faisant zapper 
 les 
 autres niveaux, mais sachant que c'est le zoom 17 qui prend le plus de 
 ressource/temps... je pense que ça ne coute pas grand chose de faire 
 ceux d'avant.
sauf que y'a bcp de tiles à 17 et si on pouvait recalculer que celle qui 
a vraiment été modifié, ça serait tout benef...
Enfin c'est pas grave non plus.


 Par contre, pour en faire bénéficier tout le monde, tu peux très bien 
 uploader tes nouveaux tiles tout en conservant une copie sur ton 
 disque ce qui te permet de faire un mirroir sur les tiles que tu as 
 déjà rendu. C'est ce que fait Rodolphe par exemple.
j'ai rien compris.

Conclusies:
- - Grote XML bestanden mergen met XSLT gaat alleen met MSXML
- - Xara's import filter ondersteunt een aantal zaken niet, waaronder
stylesheets en het 'M' pad. Wat niet is kan nog komen natuurlijk.


Vragen:
- - Wat is er belangrijk aan [EMAIL PROTECTED], waarom is het bijvoorbeeld
'beter' dan Mapnik?


Ik denk zeker dat het realiseerbaar is om direct naar een Xara bestand
te schrijven, maar ik zou toch wel graag een antwoord hebben op de vraag
van Mapnik :)
