That's neat. Thinking ahead it would be great if that analysis could be run when capturing GPS tracks (via a Android/iOS app) or when the GPS track is uploaded to OSM. [OSM-talk] Compare GPX to OSM ways
Hi, Someone asked about a way to see if a GPX file has parts that are not in OSM as ways yet. I didn't know of any so I created this script here: https://gist.github.com/mvexel/9205f72208456c7164d9f65e3219118e I wanted a test case for the Overpass wrapper anyway. It works, sort of. See the notes in the file. I hope it's useful or perhaps someone wants to improve it.
