Nicolas ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Séverin MENARD <severin.men...@gmail.com> Date: Fri, Jun 29, 2012 at 6:30 PM Subject: [HOT] EU, Local and Online Volunteers: Key actors for inclusive humanitarian information-sharing in crisis preparedness - applicaiton To: h...@openstreetmap.org *Hi EU, Local and Online Volunteers: The European Union wants to grow up a European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps and will soon start an "EU, Local and Online Volunteers: Key actors for inclusive humanitarian information-sharing in crisis preparedness" program, involving young Europeans under 26 on 09/15/2012, proficient both in French and English, for a 6 months deployment in four African countries: Chad, Central African Republic, Burundi and Kenya. HOT in partnership with OSM-FR is one of the partners of this project, for training the volunteers to HOT/OSM mapping techniques and tools and supporting them through their deployment. The recruitment is done through France Volontaires International and other EU Volunteering organizations. The application is still open to everyone though the deadline is coming soon: next Monday July 2nd 11:59PM CET but the application form is rather short and does not demand any specific administrative document. All the information can be found here : http://france-volontaires.org/Appel-a-candidature-pour-le-projet <http://france-volontaires.org/Appel-a-candidature-pour-le-projet> In a coming message, we will furnish more details about HOT involvement and OSM scale up in these countries through this project. * _______________________________________________ HOT mailing list h...@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/hot -- Nicolas Chavent Acting Project Director Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team http://hot.openstreetmap.org/weblog/ Mobile (Senegal): +221 77 859 21 38 Mobile (Haiti): +509 4617 3334 Mobile (FRA): +33 (0)6 52 40 78 20 Email: nicolas.chav...@hotosm.org Skype: c_nicolas Twitter: nicolas_chavent
