Re: [OSM-talk] Error on OSM

2018-09-06 Thread Oleksiy Muzalyev

Hi Stadia Arcadia,

I added lighting masts for the stadium Stade Raymond-Kopa (
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:tower:type=lighting ). I
indicated height as 50 meters by estimation from Wikimedia photos of
this stadium. I also added some trees and a parking.

It seems that the tribune Tribune Coubertin indeed has got the square
shape jugging from this ground photo
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Tribune-Colombier.jpg made in
January 2018. But on all the aerial imagery available in the JOSM editor
it does not have the square shape yet.

If you need to update it urgently you may order the orthorectified
aerial image from say https://www.dronebase.com/ , and then the map
could be updated accordingly. Did you mean that you cannot do it
yourself because you could not find the up to date orthorectified image?
Or you cannot update the map due to some physical reason? Or you just do
not know how to do it? If the latter than you can watch tutorials on
youtube where everything is explained clearly. Search for something like
"mapping in josm" at youtube.

Best regards,
Oleksiy

Please stop this spamming and don't create a new thread for each issue!

Are you somehow related to Bas Mooz? Is this your workmate?

[OSM-talk] Error in OSM site when Exporting to Embedded HTML

2009-06-22 Thread Ivan Garcia
Hi, I realized that when I click in the EXPORT tab of OSM.org and I choose
the Embedded HTML radiobox, it appears a link that says: Click here to
select a marker, but when I click later on in the map, no marker is placed,
I'm using Firefox 3 in my Kubuntu.

Any help? I'm sure it can be really easy to fix.

Best Regards.

Can someone who can debug JS look at this? Firefox error

[OSM-talk] error in osm

2008-08-28 Thread robin paulson
i've been getting an error in osm all day, whenever i hit reload, or try
to do something in the messages section:

---
Application error

Change this error message for exceptions thrown outside of an action
(like in Dispatcher setups or broken Ruby code) in public/500.html

who do i need to send it to?

It's less a question of who you need to send it to, and more a question
of what you need to send ;-) A good start would be to tell us the URL of
the page that is giving you trouble.

I have got that error once or twice in the last few days. Usually when i
was trying to edit the map. This was always at different places and was
usually around Dublin, Ireland. Pressing reload made the problem go away.

ok, the last time, i was looking at the main map, somewhere around zoom
14, and hit Ctrl-F5, to see if the area i'd mapped earlier had rendered
(osmarender)

http://openstreetmap.org/?lat=-36.92273lon=174.75996zoom=15layers=0B0FTF

was the link i think

i hit Ctrl-F5 again, and the map re-appeared

it also happened twice after i'd sent a message using the osm messaging
thingy. i hit send, and a similar message appeared (sorry, didn't note
it down). so, i hit F5 and the outbox appeared, and apparently the
message had been sent - although i'm not 100%, the mappers i sent them
to haven't replied yet

If it's in your outbox then it was sent as it is all the same record in
the database. It's just possible (but unlikely) that no email
notification was sent to the other person.

It was probably the page you were redirected to afterwards that actually
had the error.

I was also getting the same error sporadically this morning (about 09:00 your
time) when clicking on the View tab on htttp://www.openstreetmap.org when
leaving Edit mode. It may have happened the other way round too, but I can't
specifically remember (age :-) ). It would then work with no error repeating
the same cycle.

Ah, I thought I had just been doing something weird when I got that message
yesterday.
It was when switching between the View/Edit tab for me. I couldn't recreate
the error on demand.
