(Port au Prince SAR sectors) To: crisismapp...@googlegroups.com Cc: supportb...@mapaction.org, william.henriq...@dhs.gov Hello all - Attached is the Shapefile + KMZ for the Port-au-Prince SAR sectors, received now from the MapAction field team working with UNDAC in Haiti. Data comms with the team are severely limited but a reinforcement group is leaving UK today with copies of the many geo-datasets and map products being made available - the sharing by all is appreciated. Entry to PaP is still not easy but once there the team will be able to help make these products available locally. Nick. Yes, I did this. Now we need enter info details for each sector like number, which team covers it, etc. I believe it is more believable that some areas has some offset, as we still don't have properly aligned satphotos. http://finder.geocommons.com/overlays/20424 has csv and kml and now I will try to tag each sector. Anyone can join me to help. Cheers, Peter. ___ talk mailing list talk@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk

I'm re-uploading the SAR zones. They should show in the map and the Garmin files in a few minutes. Please keep in mind that the original data has lots of artifacts: duplicated and triplicated boundaries may show up. I'll see if I can do anything about that. -- -- Iván Sánchez Ortega i...@sanchezortega.es Good news from afar can bring you a welcome visitor. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. ___ talk mailing list talk@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk
