You could for instance have a way tagged as school and have this same way as an outer member for a multipoligon relation which gets the shelter tags. How about shelter=emergency? I don't really see why social_facility would be applicable. I don't see why an emergency shelter would be connected to social services. In the Ph, by default, schools are used as evacuation centers (which is bad since it disrupts school days during prolonged crisis but thats a separate discussion). For these, we tag them as amenity=school and evacuation_center=yes. cheers, Maning Sambale (mobile) On Dec 30, 2015 9:47 PM, "Maarten Deen"wrote: > On 2015-12-30 16:33, Dongpo Deng wrote: > >> Hi all, >> >> There is a problem for tagging shelters. Hi Maarteen and Maning, Thank you guys for comments. I agree with Marteen's opinion. The social_facility is difficult to be applied for emergency. social_facility = shelter seems mostly to be used for homeless people or refugees [1]. Thus, the wiki page of social_facility = shelter [2] is really confused. Maning's suggestion is great! I will recommend Taiwanese mappers to use evacuation_center=yes for this case. It's also good for regional tag consistency.
