Re: [OSM-talk] State of the Map domain... Have we lost it?

2008-12-24 Thread Andy Robinson (blackadder-lists)
I need the godaddy password on the new osmf account to fix this. 80n has it
but is not around at the moment. Will fix as soon as poss.

The impact, in addition to websites not being available, is that mail to any
osmfoundation.org email address since yesterday at about 17:15 will have
probably failed to reach anyone.

I'll post again once it's fixed

Cheers

Andy

Re: [OSM-talk] State of the Map domain... Have we lost it?

2008-12-24 Thread Nick Black
We haven't lost the domain. We've had problems with the MX and DNS on
osmfoundation.org and stateofthemap.org - AndyR is fixing the problem right
now.

Cheers,

I guess we did, then someone realised. Extracts from whois
stateofthemap.org:

[OSM-talk] State of the Map domain... Have we lost it?

2008-12-24 Thread Peter Miller

Have we lost the State of the Map Domain recently?

Google still quotes OSM content for the URL, but the URL itself now
points to a link farm!
http://www.stateofthemap.org/
