Points at intersectons in TMC exist once for each road because a point in TMC
ever only belongs to one and only one road.
So of cause they are doubled. That´s how the LCL works.

No it has to be the other way around.
There is definitly a data error. Just have a look at the relations for B3 and
B31 or use wikipedia: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundesstraße_3

4 nodes for each location - means overall 8 nodes for these "doubled" points ?

[OSM-talk] TMC comprehension questions.

2010-05-05 Thread colliar

Hi

I like to tag TMC locations/segments to include these segments in
road-relations, but I did not understand some important parts so far.

For example http://osm-tmc.anders-hamburg.de/point.php?lcd=52863

(Data is wrong there by the way ! B3/B31 need to be changed)

I have 2 locations at the same node and theses are again seperated in +/-, make
4 nodes, but where to put ?
Shown is the bridge/highway under the bridge. But for negative direction this
node need to be add at the trunk_link start-node of the exit north of the bridge
and for positive I choose the end-node of the trunk_link, just south of the
bridge.

Am I right ?
Or do I need even more nodes for this location ?

Now I am done with the first location I try the second one:
http://osm-tmc.anders-hamburg.de/point.php?lcd=22705

Where are these node ? right under the bridge ? or do I always tag the exit
start-node ?

If more than one location is on one node I should use relations, for each
locations or just for the second, third ... ?

Should we not distinguish the type in the type of the relations. I mean, not
just use type=TMC but something like TMC_location/segment/area ?

Thanks and cheers

colliar
