BTW you can tell how old the Osmxapi data is by looking at the first line of the response: <osm version="0.5" generator="osmxapi: OSM Extended API" osmxapi:uri="/api/0.5/node%5bamenity=hotel" osmxapi:planetDate="2008010715" osmxapi:copyright="2007 OpenStreetMap contributors"> When everything is working fine it should be less than two hours old, as it is now.
