I successfully created and confirmed my account. But then, when I follow
the "create a route" link and then click "start a route" the "optional
title for this journey" dialog is entirely greyed-out - including the
"create button". Tested on several browsers.

I just received a lightning quick private answer from Arno :

"did you try to click on the map to place points ?
Form should be ungreyed when there are at least two points on the map"

Thank you - it works !
Maybe this should go in the FAQ.

Looks very useful.
Is there a 'permalink' function so I can bookmark the page local to my city?

Cheers

Sorry, I was not clear.

I was meaning that the welcome popup says "save" button, where
the button is labelled "create" instead.

Thank you!

good catch, that's fixed now.

That's on purpose. When you've logged and visit a route you have created, you
can duplicate it, or you can modify it. So I want to have a button title
reflecting current action.

Very nice result!

Just some wording for the welcome popup:

To create a journey you need to click "start a route", not "just
click on the map". When you have finished, the button is not
called "save", but "create".

Thank you very much for this project and for the nice AGPL
license.
