'Seventh-day Adventist' is the official name, but commonly abbreviated to Adventist or SDA. Technically, an adventist is someone who believes in the (soon) second coming of Christ (the Advent), so most Christian faiths can be called adventists. However, it's usually applied to a number of churches who came from the "adventist" movement of the 1800's, of which the SDAs are by far the largest.
