Simon, you raise a good point! What do you all think is an effective way to
get this input? Reach out to people we know are active mappers in Oceania
and see if they would like their country to be represented?

That’s great Andrew.  Sounds strange but now that we have better access we are 
also going out to validate stations during next coming days to update osm.

I did a Mapillary survey yesterday (will upload later this week) and have been 
updating OSM around the stations, some areas were still marked in construction 
or access=no when this wasn't the case. The stations certainly aren't complete 
in OSM yet, they can still be mapped in more detail with respect to indoors and 
the surface footway network as well.
