That's very good news indeed. I'd like to see that Python script. I can also
help with integrating such Python script into JOSM.

It would be a nice challenge to create a script which can merge the existing
data with the source data and updated data. Remember that pharmacies can be
represented by POI nodes or by building outlines (closed ways). I should
probably check out this Merkaartor CSV file importer plugin.
