Karel, Se ni cxioj parolus Esperanton, tio estus multe pli facila. But since we don't all speak an easily learned common world language, English will have to do. I simply didn't feel like repeating myself in three languages. (Besides, I was under the impression that that was the way it's done on this mailing list). The venue I proposed may not have free parking space on the spot, but 1 km further, just outside the city there is space. Nicolas' venue has underground parkings nearby. It has the advantage that we can promote OSM to Belgians and tourists alike. I can promote OSM in Dutch, French, English, Spanish, German or Italian. For me Brussels is just fine. I don't have a car, so I'll have to come by train or bus. Hello Very nice idea. What about Brussels Grand Place ? Or a place close to that : Galerie de la Reine ou du Roi ? These are central location with a lot of people coming by. I may ask for support from the Brussels authority. I know personnally the "échevin de l'informatique" and I have connections to the "échevin du tourisme". Both could see this activity positively and we could help us. Hi, What do you think about organising an OSM Birthday party on Saturday the 20th of August? If the venue depends on me I could rent the building on Bruul in Leuven. All the buses pass there during the summer, because of the wharf on Fochplein. Of course if people have a better proposal, more centrally in Brussels or Mechelen, or maybe Antwerp, that's fine with me too.
