The interest of some local people (aka : the citizens who live or like
the commune) plus the news published in the newspaper can well support
this query.

As said to the list, I have written to IGN/NGI asking that they open
their data like the the UK Ordnance survey did last month. So far no
answer. Other people like all of you on this list can write to IGN
too, and then we can again ask some politicians for their support.

I plan to contact the elected politicians who have signed the "pacte
du logiciel libre" (see http://candidats.be) before the last election.
Indeed this pact ask for the use of free software and
