[Talk-ca] Determining if a node is within Canada

Hi,

I'm developing a program that extracts Canadian points of interest
from the planet.osm file. Is there a library, documented algorithm,
example code, etc for a function which determines whether or not a
point is within Canada?

You can preprocess the planet.osm using Osmosis to remove everything
outside of Canada. See:
