[Talk-ca] Edmonton OSM gathering
Anyone in the Edmonton area interested in getting together to share ideas? I'm no expert at editing, and maybe you aren't either, but we might be able to share some ideas and together figure a few things out. This need not be any big event, simply a few people with a common interest getting together to share some ideas. If you're interested, speak up. If we get at least two interested people, we can figure out a common location to meet up, sit and have a chat. -- James VE6SRV ___ Talk-ca mailing list Talk-ca@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-ca
[Talk-ca] OSM Android
Merci Bruno, If you make your own custom .osm maps for off-line use, you can convert them from .osm to the new OsmAnd format with OsmAndMapCreator. OsmAndMapCreator-0.6.8.2-beta.zip that is on the OsmAnd downloads page is the old one for OsmAnd version <=7.3 The latest version that works with OsmAnd 0.8 is available at: http://download.osmand.net/latest-night-build/ It sure is nice to have OSM on my phone without any data charges. Just load it at home and off I go.
