2013-02-25 Thread Stephen Berthelot
New to OSM and learning how to edit. My home address shows the right
location on the map but lists it as being in a nearby community. How do i
set the size of communities?

Stephen,

The Nominatim tool  will classify properly the roads in a city when there is an
administrative boundary relation defining the limits of the city. It seems that
no one have been imported one for your city yet.

Be Carefull! Do not try to do it by yourself. It is not an easy task and may
cause serious problems if not done properly.

When there is no limits, Nominatim uses the node describing the closest town
near your road, more or less.

Depending on your province, there may be data available. So specify your
location and ask on the list what can be done.
