Hi Folks, Come join us if you're nearby or don't mind driving. Our next mapping party is Friday August 22 @ 1900hr in Westboro. Please see [1] for more details. We'll be doing some local mapping and a quick demo/intro of a web map app using MapBox + TileMill. May even throw in some overpass turbo stuff. Hello all, There is definitely going to be a Mapping Party in Ottawa on Sunday, 28 August. We've got sponsorship from a lovely co-working place called The Code Factory, which allows us to have a room with lots of plugins, free wifi and a projector. We'll likely start about 9am or so and go for most of the day. I'll email the list more details as I confirm them. I'd love to have help to set this up though! Dear All, I hear a rumour that there may be a Mapping Party-like event in Ottawa, Ontario, on Sunday 28 August 2011. This will be the day after the FOSSLC Summer Camp[1] at University of Ottawa, and so there may well be some Free Software notables in attendance. It you are planning to attend Summer Camp, would you be interested in a mapping party as well? And, are any of our Ottawa-area mappers interested in helping to organize the details of the event (and of course, participate)?
