[Talk-de] Entfernen des "WikiProject"-Präfixes
Hallo, Ich bin Daniel, aus Spanien. Ich spreche kein Deutsch. Ich entschuldige mich dafür, dass ich auf Englisch geschrieben habe. [Auf Englisch] I would like to change the name of the wiki pages related to the Germany mapping project to remove the "Wikiproject" prefix according to the pages name conventions [1]. The name of the pages related to the Germany mapping project would be "Germany" (name of place) instead of "Wikiproject Germany", as recommended by the wiki conventions. It is a change that I have already made in United States [2], Canada [3], Spain [4], Australia [5], New Zealand [6], South Africa [7], and all Spanish-speaking countries [8] on the Wiki. The pages of Israel, Denmark, Norway, United Kingdom, Italy and Philippines have also been renamed. I could make the necessary changes, and also add the "Country" template [9] to the Germany project page, although this change is optional. All pages with "WikiProject" prefix will be redirected automatically. There will be no broken links in any case. I'll make sure everything works correctly, just like now. Do you like the idea? Für die deutschsprachigen Mitleser: Daniel möchte gern die Seite "WikiProject Germany" nach "Germany" verschieben, wie er es schon bei diversen anderen Ländern gemacht hat. Aus meiner Sicht ist das sinnvoll, da Wikiseiten zu Städten, Bundesländern etc. schon heute nur den jeweiligen Namen als Seitentitel haben und die Begrifflichkeit "WikiProject" ein Relikt aus Urzeiten ist, die heute den durchschnittlichen Leser eher verwirren dürfte. Bestehende Links werden weiterhin funktionieren, da Weiterleitungen eingerichtet werden. I probably wouldn't add the "Country" template. It promises more than the current page can keep. The page is quite stale at this point, so a visitor isn't going to find "national events, ongoing projects" or things like that, unfortunately. Thank you for yours comments. I won't use the "Country" template then, following Tordanik's recommendation. I'll just remove the prefix "WikiProject". There is also a bit of a mess with the use of the language prefix "DE:". I'll try not to change it too much either. I don't know German, and I think it would be better to leave that task to someone who knows the language. I will wait a few more days to know other opinions and I will let you know when the prefix has been removed. Thank you again for your comments and collaboration.
