Re: [Talk-GB] The Lake District: Chris Jesty on the BBC's "Mountain" programme
Caught a bit of that I think - he seemed to really trust GPS and carries 3 units to be sure of a good trace was the gist of the bit I saw. [Talk-GB] The Lake District: Chris Jesty on the BBC's "Mountain" programme
Hi, I watched the 2nd or 3rd episode of the BBC's "Mountain" programme last night; it feature a guy called Chris Jesty who is in the process of updating Wainwright's Lake District guides. I was wondering if any OSM people had any thoughts about giving him e.g. a large-capacity datalogger - he walks from 5am _every_day_ (or had already contacted him). The only major problem I can see is if he's employed to do so and his employer asserts copyright over the data. Any thoughts? cheers jack ___ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint? [Talk-GB] Anyone able to collect two servers from docklands today? (Friday)
Hi All Is there anyone based in London who's able to collect two servers from near Canary Wharf *this afternoon*? They'll need to get to Nick Black eventually, but the important thing for now is that they get collected today, otherwise they're going to have to go in the bin :( Is anyone able to help out? Cheers Nick (Burch) ___ Talk-GB mailing list Talk-GB@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/talk-gb
