Is everything mapped then? ;)

Re: [Talk-GB] MapRoulette challenge for schools

2016-03-04 Thread Rob Nickerson
I've updated the UK Quarterly Project page to include a link to the
MapRoulette task.

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/UK_Quarterly_Projects

If you've never tried this before it is well worth a go. The process is
straightforward enough and it is focussing on our less well mapped areas so
you'll be making a big difference to these postcode regions.

*Rob*
p.s. Getting close to 3000 ways being mapped since January (once you
account for duplication and other data quality issues I'm sure we're well
over this figure.

Rob,

Apologies, I spoke too soon. Having scrolled down I found the project and
I'm already 5 changesets in.

Not sure about what to put as the source tag so pasting in the EduBase2
url. If there is a convention on this, please advise so I can use this
going forward.

Thinking aloud for future events like this, if someone could rig up a
realtime changesets map that would make it even more enjoyable. In the
meantime, http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-changesets?comment=OSMschool

I agree that an easier tool for these sort of "manual imports with
