Thanks I just created a web page [1] that shows OSM with an OSGB location of the mouse pointer in the bottom left of the screen. Feel free to use it if it's useful. Thanks Stuart You can use Where's the Path. http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm It can show OS, OSM, Google Maps etc. It has the option to show an overlay of the OS grid squares, or use the pointer tool, then you can click on the map to get a grid reference. ___ Talk-GB mailing list Talk-GB@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb
Re: [Talk-GB] OSGR & OSM
Several, the one I use is Cucera's (Lincolnshire beetles recorder), this uses a MapBox layer lacking some detail, at least for countryside area: http://www.cucaera.co.uk/grp/ and it's name search wasn't working last time I used it. Re: [Talk-GB] OSGR & OSM
There are a few tools out there which may do the job, I seem to recall a few. http://nearby.org.uk/ might have it. The search keywords which might help is "os national grid spherical mercator". Do remember that a tile is not the same square as an os grid square, but you should be possible to click on a point and get that point in whatever coordinate system you need.
