Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] January Meeting Saturday January 11th
I will work on the west south of the Grand Union Canal. I was also planning to have a bit of a walk round Leamington since I have not been there since I lived there as a first year student! See you at 4:15. ___ Talk-gb-westmidlands mailing list Talk-gb-westmidlands@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb-westmidlands

Great! Seems we covered quite a lot of the town. Only the suburb in the south has no volunteer yet, but the rest of town seems to be largely covered. Did you expect any other people, Brian? -- Matthijs On 10 January 2014 19:49, Ian Caldwell wrote: > I will work on the west south of the Grand Union Canal. I shall be arriving by train so I'll map from there and concentrate on the town centre. If anyone else wants to do some stuff in the town centre let me know and we can sub divide it. Looks like 415 for meetup Regards Brian On 10 January 2014 14:03, Matthijs Melissen wrote: > Alright, I will focus on the districts north of Grand Union Canal, > with Wedgnock Lane as Western boundary and the A445 as Eastern > boundary. Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] January Meeting Saturday January 11th
Alright, I will focus on the districts north of Grand Union Canal, with Wedgnock Lane as Western boundary and the A445 as Eastern boundary. I will focus on shops and pubs, and I will also do access restrictions and oneway streets if I happen to spot them. I would be also happy to look at other features, if you have suggestions/requests. So still available are the Southern suburbs, the city center, and the area around the hospital. By the way, Brian and me traced most of the buildings in the Southern suburbs. There are still a couple of buildings missing, so feel free to help us. -- Matthijs On 10 January 2014 13:35, Andy Robinson wrote: > Looks like it will be a lovely day tomorrow, crisp and bright. Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] January Meeting Saturday January 11th
Looks like it will be a lovely day tomorrow, crisp and bright. I'll be mapping on the west/north side depending on what takes my fancy and have started to trace buildings near Warwick Parkway and in adjacent Hampton Magna. Sunset is at 16:15 ish so I will probably be in the pub by then, especially as I will be heading back in to Brum on the train at 18:05 from Parkway. See you tomorrow. Armchair mapping beforehand of building outlines is a good idea and some of us usually do this. You'll see that I've already been active. I tend to map (and photograph)listed buildings and I'll have my work cut out in Warwick as just about every building in the centre seems to be listed. I've attached a dataset if you feel like helping ;-) Regards Brian On 7 January 2014 13:33, Matthijs Melissen wrote: On 7 January 2014 13:03, Brian Prangle wrote: > I haven't prepared a cake diagram so if folk could just use this email list > to indicate where they want to map so we don't duplicate effort. Do we set ourselves goals, like mapping of all shops, all restaurants, all mailboxes? Maybe we could also make a start with armchairmapping the building outlines, before the mapping party? -- Matthijs ___ Talk-gb-westmidlands mailing list Talk-gb-westmidlands@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb-westmidlands _ No virus found in this message.
