Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] Work about to start at Paradise Circus, Birmingham
Thanks for this Andy- as I read the info there are just road closures immediately so no need to do anything to the map until demolition starts and the tunnel part of the gyratory gets permanently removed from the network physically Rgds Brian On Wed, Dec 17, 2014 at 11:51 AM, Andy Robinson ajrli...@gmail.com wrote: Heads up. Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] Work about to start at Paradise Circus, Birmingham
Before the main development happens there is lots of enabling works which includes road closures which will be in place for quite some time. The first batch programmed I understand are: 10th or 12th January – Summer Row closed between Lionel Street and Great Charles Street. Period of closure unclear. 19th January - Exit from Paradise Circus onto Summer Row/Sandpits will close. 31st January – Broad Street Restrictions - buses and Hackney Carriages only permitted inbound from Bridge Street to the Circus Cheers Andy From: Brian Prangle [mailto:br...@mappa-mercia.org] Sent: 19 December 2014 08:46 To: Andy Robinson Cc: talk-gb-westmidlands Subject: Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] Work about to start at Paradise Circus, Birmingham Thanks for this Andy- as I read the info there are just road closures immediately so no need to do anything to the map until demolition starts and the tunnel part of the gyratory gets permanently removed from the network physically Rgds Brian On Wed, Dec 17, 2014 at 11:51 AM, Andy Robinson ajrli...@gmail.com wrote: Heads up. From: SK 53 (via Doodle) [mailto:mai...@doodle.com] Sent: 19 December 2014 20:37 To: talk...@openstreetmap.org Subject: [Talk-GB] Post-Christmas Midlands OSM Meet-up SK 53 invites you to participate in the Doodle poll Post-Christmas Midlands OSM Meet-up. https://doodle.com/?tmail=poll_invitecontact_participant_invitation_with_messagetlink=logo Hi there, SK 53 (sk53@gmail.com) invites you to participate in the Doodle poll Post-Christmas Midlands OSM Meet-up. SK 53 says: Idea is to meet somewhere accessible to both EW Midland OSMers in the week after Xmas. The meeting would be in the day time, with the idea of initially surveying some rights of way (or just their designations), adjourning to a pub for a drink and/or lunch. Possible areas mentioned are: Foxton (Leics), near Burton (perhaps Barton, or Abbots Bromley), Muston (Leics). Final location will really depend on interest maximising convenience for participants. Suggested start time is 10:30, but 11:00 may suit better. Any other suggestions etc, reply to talk-gb. Note I'm a newbie at setting up a Doodle poll, so apologies if this is all askew!
