[Talk-gb-westmidlands] Nesta funding

2013-02-26 Thread Graeme Mulvaney
Spotted this on a different mailing list, thought it might be of interest.
 Hi

People might be interested in these open calls from Nesta:

http://www.nesta.org.uk/about_us/working_with_nesta

I'm interested in the Big Data and Social Enterprise call - one to discuss
at ODM this evening

Thanks

Steven

Re: [Talk-gb-westmidlands] FW: Social Next Thurs in Coventry

2012-10-26 Thread Graeme Mulvaney
I know a few people who'd be interested in talking to you guys about
mapping projects in Coventry - Blue Bistro in Spon street have said
you can use their upstairs space if you want somewhere quiet to meet -
the Windmill next door does some great real ales and has open fires if
you fancy a beer afterwards.

Let me know by Tuesday and I can arrange everything with them for you
(should be able to scare up some snacks)

[Talk-gb-westmidlands] Mapping parks

2012-10-23 Thread Graeme Mulvaney
Would I be able to use openstreetmap to map all of the trees in the
war memorial park in Coventry? - each tree represents a citizen who
was killed during the world wars.

I am not sure if it is an appropriate use of the project.
