Thursdays never work for me, so any Wednesday is a better idea.

peak on the Monday. I thought that would make for a good atmosphere. I can do
the 6th as well but only if I hurry back from another commitment.

Hi everyone

My August diary is filling fast. Currently the only Saturdays I have left are 6
and 27. Which one suits folk best? I'd prefer 6 August .

Mark,

The Lidar data we took a look at for OpenStreetMap was the Environment Agency
data - we didn't collect anything ourselves. For OSM you'd need 50cm resolution
or better plus lots of people dedicated to then converting that in to map data.

You may want to look at "StreetView" type images for interesting sites. Have a
look at http://www.mapillary.com/

Best,
Rob

hi

i seen people posting about lidar data being intergrated with open street maps.
Has anyone got the ear of the people doing the lidar scanning because it would
useful/interested to scan redditch if there are over this way it would make
sense.

We have a number of interesting sites - the most interesting is
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bordesley_Abbey

Not sure if they had anything like lidar done but they sent up a drone the
other day.

https://youtu.be/8JgIlUbVk2w

how hard is it too attached lidar to such a drone? maybe a raspberry pi project?
